Goal: Provide internet based e-learning platform for medical students and patients
Principle: Interactive text and picture integration
During a six-month internship at the Human-Interaction-Technology Lab in Christchurch, New Zealand, I worked in a team developing eLearning tutorials for medical students and patients. Within six months, we successfully brought online a learning platform, which hosted tutorials explaining the most common diseases of different fields. The tutorials always implemented animated graphical schemas (Ainsworth, 2006; Bodemer et al., 2004; Mayer, 2008) with text and simple interaction elements like sliders and buttons. Unfortunately, the platform is not maintained anymore.
